.Shei-Pa Leisure Farm
The location is near the 1,923 meter elevation Yemakan Mountain, and about 6.5 kilometers away from Guanwu. This sunrise is one of the three main events (sunrise, cloud sea, and stars at night) at the private Shei-Pa Leisure Farm near the Shei-Pa National Park. Because of the special climate in this area and the expansive perspective, there are amazing sites everywhere in the farm. The scenery are different for all the four seasons, and visitors can see the sunrise in the morning, cloud sea in the day time, and stars at night all year round. Visitors must also walk around the 1,913 meter tall Yemakan Mountain near the farm. When the weather is clear, visitors can see the ocean off of Nan-Liao from the Yemakan Mountain. This gives you an idea of how majestic the view is from here.
. Cloud Trail
The Cloud Trail begins at the Guanwu Visitor Center's outdoor viewing platform. The entire trail is approximately 848 meters, and the round trip time on foot is about 40 minutes. There are three viewing platforms along the way, each has explanatory signs that point out the names of distant mountains. This is a good place to get to know the mountains that make up the Holy ridgeline from the Xueshan to the Dabajian Mountain, as well as the peaks on the western ridge, from the Xueshan to the Dasyueshan. The observation platforms also offer a location for visitors to see Guanwu, Chenshan, and Luchangtashan up close.
